It was not my intention to dedicate a piece about me. After all this site is about poetry. Yet i thought that some of you might want to know who puts all this stuff on internet. Some authors might want to know who takes care of their writings. Well... My name is Paul Hendriks. I got interested in poetry when i discovered I already wrote lyrics for my band, and poetry gave me a new insight of writing. Sometimes i try to combine poetry and music. I made a song of Another day at the beach for example. The bands i played in were: Still, Down Delight, Y_MUCHO and a dutch band that didn't last long enough to bare a name.. There are some photo's of it avaible though: *photo's* Here you can see the pictures i took at a dutch Tom Waits fan meeting. Vocal, (double)bassguitar and guitar and are my musical ambitions. Currently i'm totaly into folk. I play the double bass in OrfeO. And i am in the board of a regional folk foundation, also running the website.. That's enough about me, you're better of reading poems.
