Moon Child.
I awoke to a humming sound,
Fair Luna smiled at me.
I looked up
glistening pearl eyes
soft and dewy
clouded and serene
The mists, they unfolded, enfolding,
And I gasped, sheer and free
the weight was gone
and a throbbing, longing,
I reached out a hand
I cried diamonds
As the moon bathed my cheeks
Washed anew,
I contemplate the silence
the peace of night draws morning
far into the light,
illuminating with false rays,
the sun comes dry and imposing,
and my eyes ache for a star.
Until the twinkling as She rises,
and I sleep under her calm,
Smiling infinitely, and eternal,
And all the pain dissolves
