I Will Never Make Him Cry...
She was in the velvet dark...
Content in the world as she knew it.
The wings of her future still wet, fragile and sticky with unuse.
She is floating in suspended animation in the liquid...
Of the days that pass by everyday.
One day a silent storm came.
It cracked open, the center of her world in half...
Where she rested unknowing and blind,
That she was to be changed forever.
You'd expect to see her body new and clean...
Lying outside her shattered shell.
You look on in shock at the old scars, some still festering,
that cover her entire body...the body of her spirit.
When a comforting shadow covers her like a warm blanket.
She lays on the bed with boxes and bags surrounding her.
Fear and confusion filling her because she is moving away.
Tension building to the boiling point...
The closer she gets to the day.
The young man whose hands hold her fragile, quaking heart.
That's who she's moving to.
Half of her says she's doing the right thing.
The other says she's a fool...
Unsolved things and future problems might destroy...
The unstable, wary ground on which lies her independence.
She is in the center of the storm's garden...
Hoping that when the beautiful calm is gone...
She will not be crushed to death.
In her tense mind she feels like she is...
Tight walking a razor sharp white picket fence.
He keeps her warm and happy...He keeps her safe in the wings of...
His Love.
This beautiful Angel, the young man whose dosing head...
is resting in her lap.
Who makes her feel so...Alive.
He took to the alien world like a whale to water.
How long has she been deluding herself...?
He was born there.
She is new and strange in an alien world...
Where the aliens say that her ways and self are crazy.
She is no longer in her haven...in her dark, warm, liquid home.
She thinks the path to her full circle is getting faded and hazy.
She sometimes curls into herself and cries herself to sleep.
Sometime ago she realised that she would have to fight,to persevere...
To keep him in this hectic and confusing world.
She is saying the vows that rest in her soul...
I will Never hurt him.
I will Never bring to his eyes, tears of emotional pain...
I will Never make him cry.
I will Never bring him to his knees...
She knows that if she,if ever, did this...
The punishment would be swift and fatal.
And if she survived at all...the pain in the region of her heart...
Would be Unbearable.
She says in the echoing recesses of her being...
I...Love...Him...So...Much.
I will change for the better, and we will grow together.
I will not be a victim. I will be a strong woman.
Let everyone accept me as I am and will be.
In the bright full-circle future...
For him....I fervently hope.
Let him be beside me.
